My Indian Head Massage Treatments

When I trained in Indian Head Massage I was taught a routine which should take 30 minutes. After a year of trying I have now accepted that I just can't achieve this!! So rather than trying to squeeze it in - which just isn't my style! - I have finally given in and 'officially' increased my treatment time to 40 minutes.

You should always allow up to an hour for this therapy. As it can be so deeply relaxing you must give yourself plenty of time to become grounded again after, have a glass of water and prepare yourself to go back out and into the rest of your day.

Due to the increased time I have also reviewed my pricing for this treatment and it has now increased slightly to £20. I'm sure you will agree that this is still excellent value and I have a special offer of a course of three treatments for just £50 (a saving of £10!).

Vouchers for Indian Head Massage treatments have proved very popular to give as gifts for all occasions and if YOU have never tried this therapy before, why not treat yourself, book in and find out just how relaxing and rejuvenating it is.

Precision Reflexology

I am thrilled and honoured to have begun my training in Precision Reflexology with Jan Williamson who has been integral in developing this exciting and advanced technique throughout the world.

In Precision Reflexology there are a series of 'linking' techniques where reflex points can be linked together to enhance the theraputic effect of the treatment.

If you are wondering if/how my treatments are going to change the answer is that you won't notice much difference at all except you may see that I incorporate some new techniques as I practice what I have been learning. What Precision does is help me to raise awareness of the subtle body of my client, their energy, which in turn helps me to work on a deeper physical, emotional and spiritual level. So in summary you will get a much more holistic treatment for mind, body and soul!

Puzzled? Interested? Want to know more? Do give me a call.... or just come along and experience the wonders of Reflexology!

Update on Ear Candling....

After completing my training and case studies for Hopi Ear Candling.. and much soul searching ..I have decided not to offer this therapy after all.

Why? Because I just don't 100% believe in it's theraputic effects. I quite enjoyed having the treatment myself but I didn't get that 'wow' factor I get from the other therapies I do.

So would I recommend the treatment to others? Yes if you have ear/sinus congestion as I think it can be beneficial and I am happy to help you find a local therapist.

But if you are just after complete relaxation - no, I think other therapies are much better. For instance, I believe that you will get a far greater and instant relaxing effect from Indian Head Massage where I work on the face, neck, shoulders, upper back and arms as well as the scalp.

One of my strongest values as a Complementary Therapist is to only offer you, my clients, those therapies which I firmly believe in and which I am most comfortable performing. There are so many therapies out there and, if I wanted to, it would be relatively easy and quick to add many more to my 'menu'. However, that is not how I want to be. I only want to specialise in those which I truly believe 100% in.

So in summary I am sorry but I will not be offering Hopi Ear Candling after all.

However, do be assured that now and always - in choosing Balancing Reflexions you will be choosing an extensively trained therapist who absolutely believes in and is passionate about every therapy she offers.
